Composite Recycled Plastic 

The eco friendly alternative to timber

Commercial Systems Australia Pty. Ltd. have developed a range of composite recycled plastic battens for use on our standard and custom range of public furniture. Our composite plastic is more durable and long lasting than timber and offers a great price point for customers.

Our composite recycled plastic has the look of timber with a natural embossed grain. Our colourway,  Copper Brown has been inspired by a blend of Australian Hardwood timbers.

Commercial Systems Australia Pty. Ltd. composite recycled plastic can be used as an alternative to timber on our standard timber and metal range of furniture. That is over 100 different products to choose from including seats, picnic settings and litter bin enclosures.

Lonsdale Street Revitalisation - Dandenong

The complete custom furniture solution

Lonsdale Street is a busy strip shopping centre located in the heart of one of Melbourne’s biggest suburbs. The revitalisation project overseen by Vic Urban, was awarded to Canteri Brothers (CBC). CBC approached Commercial Systems Australia (CSA) for the manufacture of custom street furniture designs, as CSA provided the most competitive tender quote and met all specification standards.

To ensure design integrity and quality standards were achieved, CSA provided CBC with full shop drawings and prototypes for sign off prior to manufacture. Over 100 furniture items including seats, benches, planter boxes, litter bin enclosures and recycle bin enclosures were installed along the new strip. The furniture used a variety of materials including stainless steel and Australian hardwood timbers.
